Syed Aliul Ahbab has been serving as a Nominee Director of Sun Life Insurance Company Ltd. since November 2023.

A Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA, UK), Ahbab brings extensive expertise in financial reporting, financial planning and budgeting, statutory and internal audits, corporate finance, and the development of internal control systems. His proficiency spans International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local tax and VAT regulations, and the Companies Act of Bangladesh.

Ahbab’s professional experience spans diverse industries and service sectors, including insurance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, textiles and garments, travel and tourism, power, real estate, retail, securities and stock exchanges, and technology.
