Shadedur Rahman Khan

Shahedur Rahman Khan is the Head of Internal Audit at the company, bringing over 28 years of comprehensive experience in auditing, risk management, internal controls, insurance accounting, financial management, and corporate governance. His career is marked by a strong commitment to promoting financial transparency and operational excellence.

He joined Sunlife Insurance Company Limited as Deputy General Manager – Finance & Accounts, where he significantly contributed to the company’s micro-insurance initiatives. His strategic leadership in Micro Insurance Accounts Affairs set a benchmark for operational efficiency. Subsequently, he took over the role as Head of Internal Audit, where he continues to ensure robust governance and compliance.

Mr. Shadedur began his professional journey in 1996 with National Life Insurance Company Limited and his last role was Accounts In-Charge, Janabima Project, where he laid a solid foundation in insurance accounting.

Mr. Khan holds a Master’s degree in commerce and has completed his CA (CC) from Aftab Ahmed & Co. With a strategic vision and an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry, he is an invaluable asset to the company.
