Kazi Tariqul Islam

Kazi Tariqul Islam leads the technology operations at Sunlife Insurance Company Limited, driving innovation and efficiency across the IT systems. With 20 years of distinguished experience in the insurance sector, He specializes in technology infrastructure, software development, mobile applications, system enhancements, and advanced reporting tools.

Prior to joining Sunlife Insurance Company Ltd, Mr. Tariqul served as the Head of IT at Progressive Life Insurance Company Ltd. and as Software Development Lead at National Life Insurance Company Ltd., where he significantly contributed to modernizing their technological frameworks.

Mr. Tariqul has completed B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Khulna University. He is an active member of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and Bangladesh Computer Society. Additionally, he has completed professional training on Database Administration in Oracle 10g from IBCS Primax Limited.
